One of Bikini’s first clients, Toughees has continued their relationship with us ever since. We have been instrumental in developing and maintaining their brand identity. Their advertising has focused primarily on the key national back-to-school period that happens in South Africa every year. The campaigns have been conceptualised, designed, produced and implemented entirely by us. A combination of above-the-line, below-the-line and on-line media is used. This combination links the in-home communication (television, radio, magazine) to the in-store experience. The POS supplied each year to the various wholesalers, independent owner run stores and major chain stores (such as PEP, Ackermans, Jet and Edgars) is a result of understanding the varied merchandising opportunities of these retail stores. Where a promotional component to the campaign has been included, Bikini has also managed this part.
